Personal Stationery for Christmas (just about)

Business cards or ‘At Home’ cards printed in thermography (raised text) are a very popular present to give someone at Christmas. In fact they are always so popular – that our Ink-Elves are hugely busy at this time of year. The good news however, is that there’s still time to order yours – if you need a sample of how good they look, order yours here.

We hold many types of stock for you to choose from up to a good quality 400gsm board in white or cream and off whites, cards can be printed in up to four spot colours in thermography, but more can be added in litho print if you choose. Cards can be any size you wish and can be printed front and back in thermography. We also can now offer rounded corners on your cards if you require this.

Keep our Elves busy this year, we are open up to 23rd December, but obviously Christmas post aside, it’s a good idea to order sooner-rather-than-later.

Thermofast supply beautiful thermographic printing services in East Anglia and across the UK.

The procedure is a multi-stage process – first, the bespoke linen or cotton materials are selected from our stock or indeed from some of the UK’s foremost stationery suppliers; we work with Arjo Wiggins, McNaughtons, GF Smith and many others to offer you a fabulous range of paperstocks. We offer a full design service and our correspondence cards , at home cards and personal writing paper are great for personalised Christmas Gifts – but as we are only five weeks away, (at the time of writing) hurry up reading & call us…!

Thermofast, Sudbury - Tel: 01787 880 268

Once your artwork has been laid out to your personal style and preference – or you can supply your own designs – your approved printed paper drops off the printing press onto a conveyor. The conveyor moves the sticky ink underneath the thermography powder which is shaken on top of the entire sheet. The powder attaches to the wet ink. The extra powder is then vacuumed up and stored for re-use. Next, the coated sheet passes through an oven with temperatures ranging from 900 to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Laser-safe results in thermography combines a specially formulated powder with an ultraviolet light used to harden or cure the raised stationery so it won’t re-melt. This can take place on an in-line machine or the conveyor of the thermography machine combined with a retrofit unit. This is the most productive and cost effective procedure and produces a smoother finish on fine lines of type, almost resembling genuine copper plate engraving. Our rates are more favourable than you might think, the turn around is often next day and our delivery logistics arer sorted. In the first instance, see our main site here, or call us, we are genuinely passionate about our trade and we hope you will reccommend our services once you’ve used us, and if you do, we’ll give you a 10% reduction on your next order for a referral.

Thermographic Children’s Stationery Raised Printed

We can produce birth announcements, christening invitations, naming ceremony invitations, and any other children’s celebration and invitations using the raised thermographic printing process.

We can print in up to 3 pantone colours using raised thermographic print, which gives plenty of scope for design purposes.

Our stock boards that we hold of white, ivory and cream work very well for these kinds of items, and with the raised printed finish of thermography they give an excellent finished product.

We can also produce raised thermographic printing on our gilt edged cards which come with either a gold or silver gilt edge with a choice of round or square corners.
