Embossed Printed Business Cards

Embossed printed business cards are extremely popular in the corporate world, the thermographic embossing adds that professional look which every businessman or woman is looking for.

Your embossed business cards can be printed in up to 4 spot colours, so plenty of scope to fulfil your corporate image, or they can be printed double sided having 2 spot colours on both sides.

Our standard material for the embossed business cards is a high quality 350-400gsm board, you don’t really want to print professional business cards on a lighter weight than that otherwise they feel flimsy. We have a choice of white, off white and cream boards, but if you were after an alternative, this is always do-able.

We can also create extra thick business cards, this means after the thermo embossing has been printed, two or three boards are mounted together making the business cards a heavy weight which can be up to 1200gsm.

Also another extra which shows off an embossed printed business card is to have it gilt edged, this can be in gold or silver, and having that foil edging is something a bit special that no-one is going to chuck in the bin without looking twice at.

Quality is not an act, it is a habit… Thermographic printing is something of a lost art  – a practical and cheaper alternative to engraving (copperplate printing) but still versatile enough to let your design ideas be made into a finished, tactile and individual product. We work with many trade designers to produce high-end, bespoke print-work for their clients – and we can work directly with you also!

The standard thermographic personal letterhead standard size is A5 (148mm x 210mm) but we can print any size you require, normally thermographic personal letterheads are in black but we can print in any pantone colour that you wish to have, plus it’s laser printer safe, so you needn’t worry about the laser printer marking your beautiful stationery.

Our standard paper is always a good quality wove or laid paper such as 100 or 120 gsm Conqueror available in many shades and colours, we can obtain and print on any paper that you might require your thermo print on. We do hold a range of papers in stock with matching envelopes or alternatively you can supply your own material for us to print on.

If you wish, we can set up and supply your artwork for you to your specifications for your thermographic (raised) printing or alternatively you can supply artwork in a pdf format, “QuarkXpress” or “In Design” for us to use. Invitation cards round cornered & gilt edged

Everyone loves an invitation – and to create the right setting for your event cards, a gilt edged card with either square or rounded corners printed in thermography raised print marks out the event as something special. Thermo invitations when sent to corporate customers for that special event,let the recipient know you mean business. Wedding invitation or ‘At Home’ cards printed by thermography always stand out and are retained as mantelpiece cards, just because they are so beautiful and tactile.

All our cards are either in white or cream can be supplied with matching envelopes, just give us a call for that special invitation you want to send out, we also do 700gsm special cards which just mark the note out as something special, you can also have blank edging if the metallic is not for you. We can print in up to four different colours, all done in thermography raised print, and hold many stocks of gilt edged cards in various sizes all in a good quality 400gsm board with either square or rounded corners.

Invitation Cards are the most essential part of any of your events. Be it a corporate event, an exhibition, a birthday party, an anniversary party, christening, or a graduation party. Every invitation you send out represents your party theme, the desired look and feel, and most importantly, your own taste.

Your thermographic invitations can be printed in any size you require, & in any design you wish. Thermofast gives you the option to design and create customized invitations for any celebration. In case you already have your card designed and need advice on how to achieve the optimal results in the finished product, we can help you through the process as well.

Our standard board is a good quality white ivory 330gsm, however we can print on board up to 400gsm and we do hold a good range of Conqueror card available in many shades, colours and weights. We can source other boards if an alternative is required. Matching envelopes can be supplied.

For that extra special thermographic invitation, why not add a gilt edge to your invite, this really does give it that special finishing touch. Gilt edges are available in gold or silver, plus we have other special colours if these are required. The invitations can have round or square corners and the edges can also be bevelled if required.

As soon as we hold a gilt-edged card in our hands, the first thing we note is that metallic finish gleaming through the ends of the cards that instantly leave us in awe. The immediate feeling we experience is that of luxury, elegance and quality of the design and consequently of the person or brand associated with the card.

Surprisingly, such a tremendous response is achieved by adding just a little detail to your card design while getting them printed, i.e., gilt edging!

Our gilt edged card standard sizes are A5, A6 and 7″ x 5″, however as we make to measure, we can produce any size you require.

Thicker the Paper, Better the Results
Gilt edging is best applicable on thick sheets of paper or board. Our standard stock boards of 400gsm show the gilt edge off, or if you require a thicker board, we can duplex or source heavier material for you.
Our colours of board we have in stock and already made up into gilt edged cards are a high quality white, ivory and cream 400gsm, but again if you require a particular board we can acquire this for you.

Raised thermographic print is a great addition to gilt edged cards for invitations, menu’s and business cards. The raised print finishes off the gilt edged cards with stunning results. Another print option that we can produce is foil printing, this compliments the gilt edging perfectly, reflecting the two together.
